Therapy Style

I have learned as much in the classroom as I have learned from the school of life and I believe fully in the power of living in alignment with one’s values. I consider myself to be an eclectic therapist with a foundation in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. My areas of specialty are depression, anxiety, family therapy, couple’s therapy, and parenting education. My main goal is to help you move through life’s difficulties, learn from them, and move forward to live in alignment with your values. My strength as a clinician comes from my ability to help you to better understand how your habits, thoughts, and behaviors deeply affect your life. We work together by replacing what holds you back with concrete skills and knowledge of how to live within your most important values, so you can move forward with more joy, fulfillment, creativity, and ease.

Rachel Schulz is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist who earned her BA in Psychology from Sonoma State University, a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University and went on to further study at PGSP Stanford.
