Therapy Style
My primary goal while working with others is to create a safe and supportive environment for my clients to unwind and feel comfortable enough to show up as their true authentic self. With a trauma-sensitive, empathic, compassionate, and a nonjudgmental stance I will walk side-by-side with my clients as they journey into their inner world. I will always honor one’s autonomy and help guide one towards their innate wisdom.
Together, we can explore what makes one spiritually whole and healthy. Depending on what may arise in session, I may pull on various techniques from somatic based theories, attachment theory, internal family systems, and Gestalt therapy. As a transpersonal psychotherapist I may offer a variety of exercises such as creative expression, mindfulness-based practices, dream work, ecopsychology, genograms, and parts work.
I believe we are all deserving of healing and I strive to be accessible and affirmative in my work with clients. I honor working from a social justice and systems theory lens. I invite and welcome clients from all backgrounds, sexualities, gender identities, and various relationship styles.
